PatternMaster Child's Play, I need help

Who has this program? I like to ask you some questions off list about it. I just bought it and received it last night but have some questions and they won't approve my request to join the mail list until I register the product but don't want to do that incase it isn't going to work for me. That is a lot of money I just paid for it.

Don't they have a 30-day money-back guarantee? There are lots of people on the chat list. There are some of them on this NG; maybe if you post your questions here you could get answers.

Hi Melinda,

Here is what I posted when I was finally able to get to the mail list...

Hi, My name is Heidi and I just got my software last night. I am 37, will be 38 Dec2, have been married for 13 yrs and we have a beautiful 7 year old TALL and SKINNY daughter Kari, hence the need for this software. I was playing with the software last night and I have printed a sweatpant that I was going to use some knit for to see if they are long enough but I'm very confused. When I printed the pattern out, there are several lines on the pattern and I'm not sure what they are for. What is the most common seam allowence to use? I don't consider myself a beginner but I don't think I'm up to Intermediate yet either. I have made her several Daisy Kingdom dress and a couple years ago made her a pair of jeans using a Kwik Sew pattern. They fit great but I did have to take out the back waistband and add elastic and lengthen them

Ah, yes, I saw it on the list.

Someone already answered what the two lines are, but I would say to try using the narrow one first and see if it's okay. I made one in Tailor Made for my son with the straight lines and it was waaaaay too baggy.

If you can do Daisy Kingdom and jeans, you are definitely past beginner and should handle the level of sewing knowledge needed perfectly well. If you can't figure out with the help of the construction sheets (and the chat list) how things need to go together, you might need a general sewing construction book, but it sounds to me like you have enough skill to learn it, no problem.
