Pics

I've added a couple of pictures to my Sewing for fun page. It's the first four pictures. They are of the 3 future and budding sewists and one of me that snuck in.

Thanks Sharon, We had a good time shopping that day. I took them in to their local Joann's let them wander, tried not to rush them. I had them carry the choices they made around and if they changed their original picks let them go back and look some more. The picture of me was in the same folder and really did end up inadvertently. I left it on because it was taken by Gabbie. Juno

How wonderful to put a face to your name! I love all your pictures, how terrific to have little sewist coming along. I suspect you had your camera on some odd setting for the Halloween costume pictures..

That camera met it's demise. It was given to me as a used one. I picked up a nice little Kodak on sale this summer. Meets my needs. I keep it in my purse all the time. I have it when I want to take pictures. Part of the reason I left my picture in is because we all wonder what the person behind the name and posts looks like and Gabbie caught me laughing and enjoying myself. My little kiddies all are very interested in sewing and of course I encourage. Juno, I loved seeing the photos. One thing, my DGC call me, "Gramma B".

I once made one DGS a Batman cape similar to the ones in your photos, except it was black with a gold felt applique on the back. If I can find a photo of it, I'll post it somewhere and refer you to it. The young man is now a

22-YO sophomore in college, but was 6-7 years old at the time I gave him the cape for his birthday.

The bib seemed to be a hit with your DSIL; she looks so happy in the photo.

Your smiling face was a delight to see.

I regret I didn't get so creative when my DB was alive; he had Parkinson's and certainly could have used a few nice bibs. If the workers in the hospice didn't get time to feed him when he wanted to eat, he tried to feed feed himself and would really make a mess. Of course, they would have had to be in subdued colors as he was a retired priest and very conservative.

Thanks Emily, She has used it a lot. As far as being creative, she wanted a bib, I just enlarged on her request and decided on an apron. I also have a couple of napkins to match, to get to her. Nice and big and I hope useful. Juno

Thanks Beverly, You know, it's not hard to please most people. I just tried to put myself in her place and think about what I would want. It's so easy to do something bright and cheerful rather than a plan old bib. she loves the colors and can see them. That's what counts. Juno
