I posted a couple of pictures on Happiest When Sewing today. Nothing great just some fun. An Elmo Dress for 1 DGD who adores Elmo. The first time she wore it she had a bit of a tantrum when her dad tried to get her ready for bed that night. The next day at Day Care she walked around showing her dress to all her friends and kept saying "Mine." I guess it was a hit with her. The other picture is of a large rag doll one of my DD wanted for her 16 month old. She was very specific , no clothing, no face, long hair. She puts it in bed with him at night as a mommy substitue. He fingers the hair and accepts it as intended. Tomorrow I'll try to get up the couple of pics I have of the tote bag I made with Wild Things. Again not great but fun. JJ

Those are wonderful. I think it's safe to say that your granddaughter LOVES her Elmo dress. And well she should. That's darling. :) I just have to giggle at her antics. (tantrums can be funny from a safe distance, y'know. lol) You really know you made something wonderful when they won't take it off. ;)

The bag is cute. I really like the lining. I've used Wild Things! quite a bit. I'm still trying to find time to make myself one of the ergo bags. There's always another project that has to come first though. :( I want to try and get one made for me as an experiment. I thought it would be the perfect thing to make for a girlfriend that has a birthday in April. But I always like to try new things out for me first. I'll find time somewhere I suppose.

Great job all around Grandma Juno!! Sounds like both the kids loved what you made them. And you will find a million uses for that bag!

Than you both for the kind words. Now to an OT for Cea. Last weekend I babysat 2 of my other DGD for another daughter ages 20 months and

4 1/2 years. The older one was carrying a glass of chocolate milk in the family room. Of course it has a white carpet. You guessed it, an entire glass of milk on the white carpet. I started cleaning it up, mumbling about not watching what you are doing and all of a sudden I stopped looked at her and said "it's not your fault, Gramma should have reminded you not to come in here with it." What was really going on in my mind was, big deal, it's chocolate milk but you live close enough for me to see. It's only 75 miles to your house. Cea's DGD moved far away and she won't be able to take an 1

Re: Pics + OTGrand Kids

JJ, just don't blink while you're down on your knees mopping milk--you'll look up and they'll be 18 and dribbling beer! Hug 'em hard. And ask Sharon to pass those bricks so you can put one on each kid's head! Retards the growth, dontcha know. Cea

I can really use them Sharon. Two of the grand kids slipped passed me somehow and one will start college in the fall and the other one will be a sophmore in high school. Maybe I can hold down the other 5 and the one due in April and keep them where they are. ((((Hugs Back)))) JJ
