I added it to the album of making the skirt, it's the last one, you can click the thumbnail to see her in full regalia:

That looks wonderful. And she is growing into such a gorgeous young woman. You need to be proud all the way around. :)

Lovely, to make an understatement. No wonder she did so well. The outfit had to give her as much inspiration as her talent does. To have your Gram make you something so lovely has to make you dance well. Another great job,Beverly. Juno

Thanks, Emily.

How are you doing with the lighthouse files?

Thanks Sharon, I am. I would have loved to take pics of her actually dancing, but they don't allow the use of flash (temporarily blinds the dancers), and my camera just gets blurs without it.

Thanks! Although I take no credit for her dancing skills. Her success is a result of her dedication, she practices for hours, and takes private lessons. She is very motivated.

It's true you're not responsible for her dancing skills but having such a beautiful outfit sure doesn't hurt in the confidence area of how nice she looks Juno

Oh, I understand the confidence thing, and it's why I'm so particular in getting the details right. DD thinks I stress way too much, but if I'm satisfied with the outcome then I know it will look right, and will not distract the judges. ;-)

Beverly, Not very much done in the past week or so; with one DD in the hospital and the loss of a very dear cousin, who was just 16 months older than me, has kept me away from the SM. DS did say we would get together this evening on the embroidery though. Hopefully, I can get it done this week. Thank you very much. Emily

I'm so sorry to learn of your loss. Take care of yourself. And best wishes to your DD for a speedy recovery.

You're very welcome. I hope you DDIL enjoys it/them.

What wonderful work you do, Beverly! The labels help us understand what you were doing. Your DGD looks great in the full Nationals regalia.

Thanks. I would love to put up a site where I could post pictures and provide detailed explanations, a la Kate, someday.
