Did you get to watch a few of the sewing program? Was there anything different, or just the same things you already know how to do? On the few sewing programs over here, it seems to be things I already know (not being a smarty!) and just don't care to watch all that much. But I sometimes watch anyway just in case I see a new way of doing something. Barbara in SC

No worries I will answer to any version of my name. I think I was lucky to get given a name that is quite difficult to lengthen or shorten. Apart from the occasions when my brother for some reason known only to him calls me Clobberbell!!!

Sewing bee is on Monday evenings, so I am waiting impatiently for episode 3 tomorrow night. Last weeks was a right laugh as they gave them Babygro's as the imposed pattern challenge.

Well there are a range of sewing skills in this show from rank beginners to adept lifetime sewists. It's supposed to be Britain's best amateur sewer but that only works if you take into consideration that it's Britain's best from the 10 they have selected for the show. In some cases they choose for the soap opera aspect rather than skill. I am sure more skilled applicant applied, but that would make the show less dramatic.

This morning someone on the Sewing bee discussion group posted this link to view all the episodes of all the seasons. So if you feel the need for more sewing on your small screen, or computer screen. I will put it below. Currently we are on season 4 waiting for episode 3.

Hope you can view them.
