I'm still here though it feels like barely at the moment. Overwhelmed with work. I have taken on more than I can chew at the moment. Due to family problems I lost just under a month in Feb so I am playing catch up now.

Big Big market at the end of the month for which I have made precisely 1 item the rest are cut out and staring at me.

This weeks project is a clients chesterfield sofa which I was supposed to be making a loose cover for but when I picked it up she changed her mind and asked for reupholstering. I am a dressmaker I say, but she's the type of client who could and would bad mouth me I can tell even though I haven't worked for her before. So I swallow the job and keep saying the caveat "you do know I don't do this for a living don't you?" She will pay when I deliver or there will be trouble. Plus she wants it done in a week. I am about half way through.

Come back little dresses.... I miss baby clothes and my hands are sore from staples and covered buttons. Pass the tea and I will survive.

Poor Claire! The tea should be ready in less than 30 minutes, plus the time difference between here and there! I'll also have my sewing machine ready to help with the children's clothes! Barbara in SC, USA

Bless you for the offer Barbara. I wish there was a way to send tea via an Ethernet cable but I suspect it would fry the connection. Onwards and upwards today.

Aaarrrggghhh! I don't suppose you could "accidentally" leave a few strategic pins in the seat/back cushions, just to remind her later of her outrageous bullying? :->
