Ping Kate

Has anybody seen our Kate? Do you think we need to check the jail and the hobo guys at the freight yard? She sure has been quiet. You just never know. Polly

Oh no, she's a live and well, if you don't count a bad cold her dear 'Himself' gave her. I see her posts on Facebook. The cold doesn't stop her, of course, from doing marvellous things on the costume sector. I bet she's lurking about, though, and just too busy to write here, too.

Just shine a light down the frock mines... Su and I are buried under faux suede, faux fur, velvet, wool suiting, an amazing Adrian Hendry Goth print with SPIDERS on it, 24 Majorettes, and about 43000 miles of bling!

We've just finished some Christmas Grotto kit for Bluewater (three outfits), refurbished and repaired the stuff we made last year for Cribbs Causway (two outfits), have one to finish for Arndale, have three gowns and two shirts to complete for Gothic Consequences (freefoem LARP con starting 21 November), and are getting a corset, a frock coat, and a waistcoat ready for a fitting at the National Living History Fayre this comming weekend. There may also be a Russian Emperor uniform circa 1848 for December 10th.

Oh, and I made some 'armour' - a gorget and vambraces in that tinfoil fabric I used on the bonkers silver doublet last year!

It's a leeetle busy here...
