Did you finish up on serging your baby blankets? When I serge most things I "finish the seam by using the regular SM to zig-zag over the beginning/end of the serge stitch to lock it. That way I'm sure it won't come undone. Barbara in FL

I slide the tail up inside the stitches for a couple of inches. That has yet to come undone.

So do I. I use either a blunt needle or a latch-hook for the purpose.

I've heard the "fray" block does good in the wash. I use different methods to hold the threads, but I haven't used the fray product lately. Guess I was just wondering if you had a chance to finish all the blankets. I haven't done much sewing since I had the flu back in Dec. Just haven't really felt all that good. Barbara in FL
