Oh dear, someone in an Anglo french forum I visit mentioned pinterest . At first glance I wasn't sure, then a couple of days later I notice a fellow sewist had a pinterest badge on their page so took another look. Oh dear what a way to waste time . I found the loveliest things just by putting 1930's dress in the search bar then went wandering.... Here's my favourite find so far.

I want to be able to wear that red sculptured dress every day!! Not practical in the middle of the countryside but, well a girl can dream.

I'm kind of partial to "Bouganvillea".

It's lovely isn't it but it's a bit purple for me. I am always drawn in by red! Oh and the lovely black and white, Homage to Vasarely, where can I wear that one ? Not to play with marble dust that's for sure. I'm sure a swan around the markets in it wouldn't be out of the question.

The black-and-white makes me a bit seasick, but all of the others are quite fun, aren't they? I could never wear any of them, but I don't know who could! They're just wonderful whimsey, though.
