the bleach is to remove what oxy clean doesn't and I have not yet managed to stain clothes using bleach for this job.

this was more in the lines of disinfecting after the clean up... this is the tile bathroom floor and my small kids walk all over it it was after shop closing time and i was out of Dettol

it was diluted bleach - bleach on the floor with water added - not 10% but not 100% either i have yet to see fabric damaged by bleach - i used to wash my ex's workclothes in beleech every week - he was a chef and wore the chef's whites (well till he had worn them for a day LOL)

I'm down to 0 cats now but we used to have 9 - BTDT too ;-) now i'm slowly looking for a cat I don't react badly to - pregnancy has a *lot* to answer for in my case

well I bleached my jeans in the washing machine (so not 100% ;-) ) added the dye and have nice Charcoal jeans now :-D

I may decide to dye them again to make them black later but they were great for my date last night!

thanks for all the help everyone!

You are really lucky, then. Every time I ever tried to use bleach, I ruined something.

Try putting a teaspoon of full-strength bleach on cotton and leaving it overnight. :)

I don't use pure bleach but I bung a cupful in the washing machine just before I add the washing powder

You probably aren't as klutzy as I am, then, and manage to spill or splash some on yourself every time you use it. :)

nope only when I forget that using a scrubbing brush on a broomstick makes splatters ;-)

I am more likely to spill coffee over a unfinished quilt...

Lots of luck!! How do you study for it? Sharon

Thanks Sharon!

There are a few different options, the easiest of which is taking a one week course in a town about two hours from here, which unfortunatley I just can't do because I can't drive four hours in a day, just not feasible for me. Or you can do online study. Or correspondance study and then take the test on one of the testing days at their office. I am doing the home study, I would do the online thing since its easier for me to read online because I have become so accustomed to it. Hopefully when my books come I will have an access code to the online learning area, that will help alot. I don't know why I would prefer it, I just would!

If you are curious about what I will be doing here is the website

You feel very comfortable working online, so that would ease you into the study. A friend who is now a licensed midwife did about 85% of her study online, then went on to pass a very rigorousPennsylvania state board exam. It's a great way to study and still be available to your family. Again, best of luck, knowing that you'll do well. Sharon

Wow, Michelle, you don't let any grass grow under you! Seems like just the other day that you began the new job. How nice to see your hard work and self-motivation rewarded with a promotion, and I know you will do well on the exam.
