Power mesh?

I go to John Lewis at Bluewater, and various M&S's... Bravissimo is also good, if you can find a store near you, and if all else fails, take her to Rigby & Peller in London!

Feedback: from a message posted on How to Make Sewing Patterns on 4/2/07 2:57 PM:

} I had been working on bra patterns for fashion dolls so I initially } tried to answer it with solutions that I had come up with for my } vinyl girls. I had started a small private Yahoo Group with people } from the chat giving me feedback. Well they let me know pretty } quickly that what worked for vinyl wasn't working for them.

Then he went } The premise is that if a bra doesn't fit, isn't comfortable, } and isn't supportive, it has failed in the very reason for its } existence.

It would be worth joining Yahoo for a few minutes to read the rest of the message about how the book was written, but I don't find any obvious message number to look it up under. It's probably the only message with "bra" in the subject line posted on that date, though.

If you do go to the bother of gaining access to site, don't miss the Apron Project in progress in the files area. It's a very simplified explanation of the elements of pattern design.

Also never forget that the Charnos Bioform bra was designed by a couple of male engineers. It worked, and I found it very comfortable. One of the great things about it was that, unlike almost all other bras I've ever encountered, it was designed also to be washed in the machine! :) Unfortunately it was not a commercial success, and has been discontinued for some time.

Well, let's just say that at 120 pounds, I was an F cup, and as I gained weight over the years my rib cage didn't expand but my soft tissues did.

I would love to be an F cup again -- it would be like trading in a basketball for a softball.

Is anyone other than me creeped out by someone using the phrase "my vinyl girls"??? LOL-

I am, even in this context- but I often find the anthropomorphizing of inanimate objects or pets to be creepy- like people that call their toy dogs their "baby", and some even wear their dogs in cloth baby slings, the kinds that go on the chest, with the straps over each shoulder. Eeeek.

Well yeah. Because I initially thought she was referring to breast implants.

Nope, because I have been on his mailing lists and take his comments in context of all of what he has written, all the feedback he has received and been sensitive to, etc.

Dr. Calvin Rickson, a scientist from Texas A&M University has invented a bra that keeps women's breasts from jiggling and prevents the nipples from pushing through the fabric when cold weather sets in.

After a news conference announcing the invention, a large group of men took Dr. Rickson outside and kicked the shit out of him.

My PHYSICIAN advised me to wear underwire bras. I don't find them uncomfortable.
