I'm shortening a pair of Levis and I'm wondering how to get the "puckered" or "wrinkled" look on the new hem?
Thanks Gary

Crank up the tension so it's a bit tight!
"puckered"
Instead of matching the seams up (the proper way to hem), start them "off" by and eighth inch or so, and let the pressure foot "push" the hem fabric all the way around. :-(

I was told to take sandpaper and rough up those wrinkles after you make the hem.
