Hello,
Could I get some advice from all of you more experienced sewers?
I need to remove some riveted-on buttons from an article of clothing so that I can replace them with real buttons. The rivets don't unscrew, but seem to be "popped" together, and are very secure.
Any suggestions about how to remove them without much damage to the cloth?
CC
I can sew but haven't done so for several years. The last sewing I did was to make most of my maternity clothes 19 years ago. Before that, I learned by being a 4-H sewer. I really need to start sewing again because we do Civil War-era dancing, and I'd like to make most of the ball gowns for myself and DD and also things for DH.
