My knitted one has thousands of hand-transferred stitches and is very lacy and delicate, and it, too, moves from drawer to drawer because I am not parting with it after all that work!

Dear Mir...

What a lovely collar. The lace looks to be handmade. Do you know if it is? Great exhibit. Isn't it wonderful how we can sit at our computers and visit places all over the world?

The ruffler attachment, IMHO, is a great thing to use, once you've practiced a while, but I do think there is a deep learning curve. I once gave one away because I thought it was too difficult, then someone gave me one for Christmas once and I decided to try again, Was I in for a surprise! Emily

Hallo Teri , my name is mirjam , [straight from the Bible, and in Dutch spelling] :>:>:>

As far as the Artist told me this was a Hand made collar that belonged to her late grandmother. Yes it is wonderful that we can sit at home and visit far away places , And/ OR wxhibitions that have been closed years ago !!!! In the little drawers that Oli added to the collar she put dried herbs , to give that nice smell of old linnens coming out of drawers were they were kept with herbs. She also layed the work in such a manner that it became a memorial wreath for her Oma ..

Did you also enjoy the other works [ mine as well as others`] on my site ? mirjam
