Serger identification! Ron?

I came across these machines via another group. They appear to be made in India. They look to me like older Singer industrial machines, but (like other things on the site) are being made now. My guess is that they are made using the old tooling from the Indian Singer plant.

anyone shed any more light on them? Oh, and have a look at some of the other pages on the site! there are some mighty fine decals and paint jobs!

Yes they appear to be clones of the Singer 85 and 86 class overedge machines.

Thanks! :) Do you know any more about them, and if manuals are available anywhere? A pal looks like getting a pre-loved one for her business. Dunno if it still has the manual.

Well, these seem to be new made in India. India being what it is, I bet parts will be available. It's just that they'll take some considerable time to get here... :( I'll pass your words along and see what happens. Thanks! :)
