Hi All,
I have cream piece of curtain lining fabric - which I think is 100% cotton, that I am thinking about dying with tea or coffee.
However, if I do so, I need the new colour to be toddler and washing machine proof..... So how do I set the colour?
The fabric is to become the body of a rag doll for DD - I have about 4 days to make it and the clothes etc., as I hope to be able to give it to her as a present when #2 is born....
I could use the fabric as is, and may do so, however I was hoping to try and get a more authentic "skin" colour hence the thoughts about tea or coffee dying.
I remembered today, the one thing I still need to buy to make this doll is some wool for her hair! I have everything else, baby shoes & baby socks, all manner of scrap fabric to make her clothes, I have the body fabric, but no hair!
TIA,
Sarah!
