answering my own reply I remembered that Sew and Vac in the Poughkeepsie Plaza has some kind of club and I think the Quilt Basket in Hopewell may have one, Why not give both Places a call. Juno

Thanks for the information. I really don't know mush about ASG and from what I just read on their web site it looks like a worthwhile group to join. Juno

They are a great group. I did a couple presentations for the Albany chapter some years back. Kind of like the in person version of this group, very talented and helpful folks. There are at least local some spin offs from that group also, some more specialized as quilt groups, home decor etc.
