Should KwikSew be my first choice ?

I have sewn simple dresses for granddaughters age 4 and 6. They are not near enough for me to fit them, but I can get measurements from their Mom. I have never made t-shirts ( I have a serger ) or pants (knit fabric for both ). Which pattern should I use, KwikSew or Stretch and Sew? Are there any other hints or tips I should know?

I'd recommend KwikSew. They have some really cute things for girls that should do.

children book ,which comes with a bunch of master patterns in multi sizes. Lots of outfits to make. I have the sewing for babies and the sewing for toddlers books, that I used to make outfits for my grands.

KwikSew has lots of kids patterns, Stretch and sew almost none. Do you happen to have KS's book of basic kids' patterns? It's really quite a bargain.

T shirts and pants are both easy and fun with a serger. Sometimes it's tough finding good knits... I know that Rose City Textiles (a local store for me) has some Hanna Anderson knits and wovens (very good quality) on their website right now...

Kwik Sew books detail how to work with knits and tips for dressing up/altering the paterns the book provides. I love the Kwik Sew book for toddlers and have a few of their adult patterns and they've all been great. The patterns are simple and easy to follow and if you have a serger I would think they'd go together in a flash (Kwik Sew does provide serger instructions as well).
