Lots of water, drink lots of water. Even if you were to nod off, you couldn't sleep long :P

I've also been known to drop the thermostat and turn up the ceiling fan. I can't sleep cold.

It used to be Dr. Pepper and Cheetos (caffinated soda and horrible cheese flavored crispy snacks) but I can't do caffine now, so it is lots of hot tea and brassy classical music, like the Planets by Holst. Or mindless disaster movies on TV, if I'm handsewing

Get up and walk around the house every 20-30 mins. It may seem like time wasting but it helps me keep the concentration on track.

Keeping the spool of thread in the sewing room while I sewed in the living room, so that I had to get up to walk the length of the house every fourth eye, got my hooks and eyes on my new pants tonight.

I haven't the foggiest idea when I'll have time to log in and send this, though.
