I'm confused. Is it the short jacket, the skirt, the cap, or all of it?? I don't know what I'm supposed to be looking at. Is this a costume for a school play?

It's all one thing. It's a hooded coat made out of recycled sweaters. I used the Pendleton Wool cardigan as the bodice of the coat. The other sweaters get used for the skirt of the coat, the sleeves, the hood, etc. It's not a costume, it's just a fun coat. I got the directions here
That's one honking big hood!!! ;->
They were all destined for the neck-band of Pendleton shirts for DH., like the one here:
That explains a lot! ;-)
very cool and boho!
Oh, that is a nice one! And I like the thread! 'Fine line' - hehehe... But really, I don't think that you'd find a lot of people here in Germany who'd be easy and comfy in the Pendleton style. Probably top-of-the-range quality, but a design that shouts 'Bred and born-Fourth of July-Yankee-doodle-dandy'. Perhaps the equivalent to German Trachtenmode, all linen, wool, and leather, but the style not suitable everybody. ;-) Still, I like the coat and if I find the time I might make one for me, too; it looks so cosy, just right for cool winter evenings in the living room or a walk in Fall...
