You know, that was one of my inspiration pieces, and I seriously thought about doing the squiggles in gold thread - for all of 10 seconds!
I may well do something like that with the embroidery machine when I get it, so Watch This Space, as they say.

Thank you. It was a fun adventure! Not an area of sewing in which I have great experience, but lots of fun. And I've started the pockets! One will have blue flowers, the other a cockrel in reds...

LOL! While it would have been spectacular, I'm sure the time consumed would have been immense.
