Trauma team to the sewing room, please!

My latest skirt pattern has raw edged lapped seams all over the place! EEK! How will I, a mad finisher of everything, cope???

OK< skier finished. I'm now wearing it...

It's fun! Made Alan grin and me giggle. Frivolous denim!

Good luck Kate!!! I've seen skirts like that in the stores and I find my fingers itching to hand overcast them all while I'm shopping. LOL!!

Have fun with it though!

Not if it is a "Simplicity" pattern (unless you want a never-ending migraine)

I'm with Sharon, just too old fashioned. But I did buy a skirt like that (in denim) and am considering trying a top with raggedy ruffles in a chiffon-type print. Good for you Kate!

You have my complete sympathy. It's a look that I hate. That fashion always reminds me of the old rags that used to be used in my childhood to wash the kitchen floor with.

Just don't let the raggedy edges grow too long.... The furry children will be chasing after you to get them!!! lol
