Update on Embroidery Machines for EGALITARIANS

I think you all would enjoy an embroidery machine, especially for making custom items for your DD, but I am obliged to warn you that the cost of the machine is only a ***beginning*** expense. You'll have to invest in several kinds of stabilizer, dozens of spools/cones of embroidery thread (probably in both rayon and poly) as well as either software to create your own designs (and dedicated time to learn how to use it) or a largish budget to purchase well-digitized designs. There are lots of places to download free designs, but in my experience they are usually not worth wasting thread on. Still, if you are an EGALITARIAN, then I suggest you try it!
