wahoo!! and a little brag that Kate will appreciate

The lining is hand sewn down, so that leaves buttonholes, sleeves, and that's about it. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

For my little brag, I did covered buttons for the first time!! Kate had to do a ton for her bridesmaids dresses, and I only had to do 3, but still........

The nursing top (a top to wear while nursing my soon-to-be little one, not a top to be worn my one in the nursing profession) is all cut out and marked.

Now for the food updates: the cookies were yummy, the lasagna recipe has been asked for, the peaches and cream pie even tasted good to me (I don't usually eat pies unless they are chocolate), and the apple recipe has been asked for. Also, DH has stated that nobody else gets to eat anymore of the apple pie, so I guess that means that he likes it.

For the apple pie, I actually made the crust from scratch and used 3 different kinds of apples in the filling: Macintosh, Yellow Delicious, and Granny Smith. I suppose I will have to try the apple pie and the cookies now since everybody likes them.

The ladies will be sitting down tonight and going through the fabrics for the baby quilt, so I am all but done with the state fair entries...yippee!!!!

Excellent! You are a busy little thing! ;D

I wore out my button covering gadget doing those damned things - 8 15 mm ones and 48 11 mm ones! Next time I need to do some, I'll need a new button covering thingummy! Now I just need to find the site that had the white one on it...
