Thank you for the good thoughts. Yes, my granddaughter (26) contacted the police to submit a missing persons report but said the police have given her little encouragement on their active search for them. It gives me a horrible feeling that something terrible has happened to them, but no one is able to check it out since no one knows exactly where they went. I told my DS about your concerns and he had this to say. Did your DGD get in touch with the State Highway Patrol in CA and/or which other state(s) they will travel across as well as where she lives? She could provide them with a description of the vehicle with the license plate #, and descriptions of her parents. I know there was lots of snow in the mountains of CA over the weekend, the weather channel was showing pictures, so they may be caught in a no-cell phone area and can't get a signal to call out. Our prayers and good thoughts are with you, as I stated earlier. Please let us hear of any news. Emily

I am in California 35 miles ENE of San Francisco, and if there is anything I can do to help, let me know. Seriously, *please* do. I know the feeling of having someone you love being in danger and being too far away to do anything about it.

What mountains were they going into?
