Whassamatta, Kate?

Sounds like a bit of modelling 'on the stand' is required - or in this case, 'on the dolly'! ;) I used to do that a lot in the dolly dressing days of my youth.

At 5'3" and 213 lbs, and a lot of extra pain and lack of breath and movement, summat had to give. On top of that and the fibro, I developed gall bladder disease. Shifting the weight was easier than hauling the extra mass, so it went! So did the gall bladder. Now, except for the fibro and the RSI, I'm slimmer and fitter at 50 than I was at 30, which is a bit scary, but rather nice. I can now hop up and down the loft ladder to the fabric stash with greater alacrity, and I generally have better stamina and suppleness than before, so though there are times when the RSI bites and the fibro lays me flat for a while, on the whole I'm so much better off than I was that there is no going back - ever!

That's great news!

So glad you're back to sewing, I know how hard it must be to be unable to work on sewing projects.

Facinating. Sounds like the research is paying off. The only aches I get are those caused by cholesterol medications, and last spring I thought I was becoming a cripple. I went off it for a while, then the doc put me on Crestor so we'll see. I believe I'd rather die of a massive heart attack than feel crippled like that, so I have an idea of how you feel. Be a stroke patient - well, that's a different story.

Let us know how it works for you. I hope new findings really improve your life.
