hey whats going on, i haven't been here for a while, whats up with all the crapy spam type stuff? a while back i peeped in and found all sorts of vulgarities, now this. where do i go now for discussion and help on assorted sewing related topics?
Get a real news reader instead of Google groups and they will disappear automagically
Many of us use news.eternal-September.org with outlook or thunderbird, little or no spam makes it in.
Spam is a reality of life. IF you view this group through a good news reader and set up filters the spam is a non issue. If you view through google groups you're going to be inundated with garbage. My preference for a news reader is eternal-september. There are others that are just as good. You have to remember that google is not usenet/ It only archives groups. Make the switch and see the difference. eternal-september is free.
With all due respect, it looks like "eternal september" requires yet another program atop its platform. I'll pass.
