what is it?

Do you know what "semi-princess seam" could be?

Thanks in advance Kowal_ik

I'm guessing it would be seams running from the shoulder to the hem rather than from the armseye to the hem.

I am not so sure. Any other hints?

When the princess seam starts at the shoulder, I've heard it called "shoulder princess" or "military princess."

Here's what came up when I Googled "semi princess":

I'd guess the term was really "demi-princess": princess seamline relocated to not-over-the-bust, toward the shoulder. The rest of the bust shaping can be handled with a dart.

Without knowing the context of the phrase, I've seen that term used in reference to a very long princess seam-like dart.
