What stitch and technique do you use to join two side gussets?

Thanks for the help with my other gusset question. I'm now working on a different bag, which requires a two piece gusset to go down the sides and along the bottom of the bag.

What technique should be used to stitch these two gussetts together at the mid point along the bottom of the bag.

I'm hand saddle stitching this bag using 2.5-3 oz soft hide.
