It would be useful if your website loaded! I am on broadband and I am still waiting on the contents page to load after around 3 minutes....and your frontpage crashed my PC totally :( Afraid you won't get many folks waiting around to see what you have to offer unless you address some of these issues. MS Publisher isn't suitable for designing an efficient website...it produces bloated code and slow loading pages.

I have tested the pages and they load in under 5seconds, if some errors occur it must be a network problem and the crashing of your PC is DEFINATELY nothing to do with the website.
Admittedly the page sizes are larger than usual but I have not had any complaints from the people viewing the site so far. And I have had a lot of hits.

I'm with Marilyn, it doesn't load properly for me. You "haven't had any complaints", most likely because the vast majority of internet users have other places they can shop and won't take the time to let you know when there's a problem. Marilyn was kind enough to alert you to a potential problem and your response was less than gracious. Marilyn's may not have been what you would have liked (although I certainly didn't find it to be rude or abrasive), but she's not trying to get us to buy something. You are, and your response below may turn many off... I know it did me.
Take it as you will, but something to remember about doing business on the internet - and especially on usenet - is that what you post sticks around for a *very* long time.

Alison...thanks for your post in support of my comments. I WAS intending to be helpful by pointing out that the website wasn't loading successfully for me....but it was abviously not taking in that vain :( It seems my comments were somewhat justified since you experienced similar problems. Oh well...sigh.....I will go back to lurking now and mind my own business!!!!

I responded to Elephant Stamps privately, but FYI to everyone else: I, too, had trouble accessing the site in terms of loading time. I tried from here at the university, because that's the fastest connection I know of. At home on dial-up, where I do my personal business, it's impossible to use the site. I'm on a Mac, and had the same problem with both Netscape and Explorer.

Yep, very slow loading site for me as well. I'm on 3Mb high speed here in Canada.

hi there is a problem with loading, i'm afraid, 4 mins on 1mb ADSL and still only the top text loaded, maybe you should not use ms publisher to design the page it adds lots of junk to the HTLM i could do a deal with you if you need help

I wasent intending any bad feeling in what i put, sorry if it came across like that, i just meant i got between 10-20 people to view the site and give opinions before it went `live' and they didnt have any problems. It seems problems have since cropped up. I have taken points on board and am in the midst of re-doing the site.
