EVENT: 2nd Annual Book Works Retreat

You are cordially invited to attend the Book Works Retreat 2005 in St Francisville, LA.(about 30 miles north of Baton Rouge) It will be held in January, 2005 and there will be two Sessions; January 11-12, and January

14-15. On January 13, we will be taking a field trip to New Orleans for a class at the Glass and Printmaking Studio, plus sightseeing and shopping in the French Quarter. Book Works will be held at the St. Francisville Hotel on the Lake, located in the forested hills of central Louisiana.

The workshop will be an "open studio" format with over 35 different book projects offered. Enrollment is limited to allow the instructors to give plenty of one-on-one attention and the classroom will be available to you 14 hours a day for each session. There will also be a Get Acquainted Get Together the evening preceeding each workshop session.

What better way to relax after all the Holiday hustle and bustle?? Join us for the 2nd Annual Book Works retreat held in St Franciville, LA. There are still a few spots left in both sessions. Session I is January

11-12th. Session II is January 14-15th. On January 13th there will be a trip to New Orleans to take a class at the New Orleans Glassworks and Printmaking Studio and to spend some time poking around in the French Quarter.

The retreat is an "open studio"-"work at your own pace" work shop that features over 35 different book forms for you to learn. The studio will be open for 14 hours every day. Talk about complete submersion in your own creativity!
