New card pics

Finally managed to get my Christmas/New Year's cards scanned and uploaded. Click on the link below and look for "pocket_cards". Our letter was folded and tucked into the pocket.

I also uploaded pics of our Halloween cards from earlier in the year. DH designed and made "Pumpkincat" (look for both Pumpkincat_out & Pumpkincat_in to see both the inside and outside of the card). Halloween_cat_in/out and Halloween_pumpkin were my designs.

Bummer! I could get on the site below but didn't see any pocket_cards or Pumpkincat_out or in cards either. I loved the other cards. You do great work. Thanks for sharing.

Sorry about that. Yahoo changed their process since the last time I uploaded photos and now apparently defaults permissions to private instead of public. I could see the pictures but nobody else could. It should be fixed now. Try again :-)

Got it that time. Thanks...I would never of thought of using SU Fine Lace with the pumpkin card but it turned out nice. I like SU Print Pattern on the fold card too. Great job. I still haven't gotten the time to upload some pictures of mine and don't understand what you mean by "defaults permission to private instead of public" so don't know if anyone would be able to see anything if I did.

When you upload photos to an album in photos.yahoo.com, there is then a tab at the top that says "share" and one of the choices under "share" is "permissions." If you select that choice, a dialog box pops up that has two choices you can select from: "private" (only I can see the photos when I'm logged in to my account) or "public" (anyone can view it without having to be logged in to my account). In the old yahoo photos view, my photos were by default set to "public" when I uploaded something. They changed the software and now when I upload a photo it is automatically a "private" photo unless I select "share" ->

"permissions" -> "public" after uploading the picture. That's why you couldn't see the photos the first time. I expected the new photos to automatically be "public" but instead the new ones I had just downloaded were automatically "private," so while I could see them when logged in, they were not visible to anyone else outside of my account.

So if you want to upload pictures using yahoo photos, we could see your photos as long as you selected them and then changed the permissions setting to "public."

Hope that helps!
