shadow stamps

Hi I am looking for the cheapest possible price for shadow stamps - plus pictures and ideas of how to use them. I have looked on ebay - but they are very limited, usually whole colour blocks. I'm really looking for squiggly squares. =^..^=

I would suggest getting templates rather than the shadow stamps. They're made by Impression Obsession, here's the website:

Or even cheaper, create your own stencils.

Using a punch or craft knife, cut the shape that you want in a piece of thin card or acetate. Place this over your card stock and using a piece of sponge orfoam, take up some ink from an inkpad and apply using a gentle dabbing motion through the stencil.

Move the stencil and repeat as required.

Note: if you are using a new inkpad which is still quite juicy, you will need to dab the excess ink of the sponge onto some kitchen towel before applying to your card stock.

Or you could make your own shadow stamps. You can buy rubber in the block printing area of the craft store and cut and carve it into any design you want. Use acrylic or wooden blocks to mount. It's actually pretty easy. This is the one area where I have successfully made my own stamps. Cindy
