Stamping on Felt

How do I use a rubber stamp to make an impression on felt? I couldn't remember if you heated the felt or the stamp? I am pretty sure you don't heat the stamp it would melt -- lol Please help

This is how I've done it:

Place the rubberstamp (preferably a bold or solid image) upside down on an ironing board. Mist back side of felt very lightly and lay over stamp with felt side down. Have your iron heated to medium-high. Set the iron on top of the felt. If you feel you need to move the iron around do so carefully so it doesn't move the felt. Lifting the iron and setting it down in a different place may work better. It also works better if you have an iron with no holes or at least one that has a flat area. You may have hole impressions from your iron in you felt otherwise . It shouldn't take more than 10 -15 seconds but you can check it carefully by holding up one corner of the felt to find out when it's taken an impression. Hope this helps. Good luck.
