Hi, I am Cindy. I live in Toledo, OH. I am a single mom with 2 kids (Sarah is 4 and Wayne is 7). My sister Jeanne also moved in with us after her last Divorce, she is helpful with the kids as she doesn't go to work until later in the morning, so she can get Wayne off to school and Sarah to my other sister who watches her during the day.
I have been quilling, and making quilled cards, for 32 years. I started stamping by stamping a basket on a card and filling it with quilled flowers. It took me to a stamping group to teach them quilling and they got me hooked on stamping. I would guess about 4 years ago. I work with a group twice a month and started selling Stampin' up to help them have a source for stamps and such. I have just recently joined a group that is made of CM and SU demonstators and we get together and share supplies and ideas.
To make money, I am a teacher. I teach 3rd and 4th graders in a charter school. I love the school and the philosophy of our charter which is teaching students to their ability. It is a lot more work, last year I taught 7 math groups and 6 reading groups. If I have time left, I teach MI history, science, cursive writing and career exploration.
Well, that's all I can think of right now, but I must say I am glad that I asked the question a few weeks ago about whether this group was active or not.
