lining for linen dress

I have taken in a linen dress today that the customer wants lining. Here's where my knowledge slips a little. I can do the construction snas pattern no problem but what would be best to use for lining, bremsilk, a lighter linen blend, polycotton or good old anti-static lining ? its for a holiday (abroad from the U.K.) so she will be wearing it in hot climes and wants to reduce the 'see-throughness' of the dress. Silk habotai: light weight, breathable, opaque under another fabric, washable.

Hot and humid, or hot and dry? For hot and dry, I'd consider a silkweight wicking polyester. For hot and humid, I'd go with cotton, linen or rayon, light as I could find.

Has she considered a slip instead of lining? If she's taking several dresses, one slip may less weighty than several lined dresses.
