- Warm wash and dry everything, including trims, first.
- If you use tissue lame, back it with Touch o' Gold interfacing and be aware that it'll wear badly even so.
- Avoid the "bull's eye" effect, which places a central motif between your shoulder blades and/or over each breast.
- If you use a spray adhesive like Sulky 505, you can audition pieces before you sew them down.
