Serger--Bernina vs. Pfaff

I need to get a new serger. Which is better Bernina or Pfaff --and why?

Janome, because it's a decent serger at a decent price. But it does depend which model you're looking at.

I really have been happy with the three Pfaffs I've had in the past 18 years, each one is an upgrade of the previous. Now I have the 4872, a

4-thread with cover stitch and many decorative stitches and I doubt I will ever need another one. My oldest DD loves her new 5-thread, an upgrade from mine, whereas the youngest DD is thrilled to have my old one. She doesn't sew often. Emily

Love my 910, but wore it out in 7 years. BUT I use it *very* heavily for professional work. I'm thinking of replacing it with either the Bernina 1100D or a Huskylock 905 (I never used the sewing advisor or memory and see no call to pay for features I KNOW I won't use. On the other hand, I do love the free-arm feature... ).
