My brain is having trouble with the pen blanks being anywhere near that lathe.
Beautiful machine. If he knocks off two zeros, I might be able to afford the shipping.

Judging by all the equipment, in as-new condition, and vast number of accessories, he is an amateur and compulsive tool and jig buyer. The lathe is an older model of one that would now cost close to CAN$6k. Graham

did not see that but that is interesting
i have a small lathe and never wanted to do pens
like the other poster noted it seems they like the buying and collecting of tools but not the using part
it reminds me of those stories you hear of pro sports rookies that suddenly come into a lot of money and buy crazy cars and houses and whatever else they could never afford
