Hello Been looking at the Jet 16", 2hp. Went to Amazon to see if the price had come down, yep, $250 cheaper. Also saw a Laguna 18/47. Didn't know it existed, and have no experience with Laguna. How do these lathes rate, and what do ya'll know of Laguna? Good, bad or indifferent. Thanks
Look at the new Grizzly 0632 lathe. Its promising, though hard to find a decent review. Price discount is significant. Max
I know of one guy who got one and had problems with it. Customer service was terrible. I have a Laguna 16HD bandsaw, and love it. Of course there are things I would do differently if it was my company, but...... The lathe could be a good one, and does look good on paper, but customer service is a make it or break it for me. robo hippy
