PhotShop as a Design Tool - wanna be a Beta Tester

I've been using PhotoShop to create variations of pieces I've done and have digital images of. With a few basic tools and a few of PhotoShops "functions", I can change the proprotions of the whole piece or just part of the piece - and SEE the effect that has on the look of the piece. Actually SEEING the effect rather than having to mentally visualize the effect is very helpful to me. And when I've got something I like and decide to turn, I can print the version of the changes I did to the image and take it to the lathe.

I started using the PhotoShop "design tweeking" method on images of pieces others had done and requested critiques of. Having the original image and the modified/tweeked image with my suggested changes, along with some description of the changes I made and why, has been well recieved. The idea of using PhotoShop as a design tool prompted requests to do a basic tutorial on how to do "stuff".

So - I've started putting together a very basic How To tutorila on my woodworking site. Each web "page" is a GIF format graphic file that can be printed directly from the web page or downloaded and printed off line. With a printed copy in hand, one can go through the tutorial while in PhotoShop, do what one sees and make notes on the print - questions, suggestions, gaps in the information, likes/dislikes, etc.

Here's the URL to the first page of this basic tutorial. You can get to the other pages from here

What I need now is some feedback from Beta Testers.

Wanna be a Beta Tester? If so, go through this stuff and e-mail me your suggested changes and questions.
