Apology's for revisiting this subject but as yet I have not got to a solution. I know that it is possible to turn a finger top which will flip itself over while spinning. I "fluked" it one time and thought that I had lucked onto the shape but many close reproductions of that shape failed to perform the trick. I now suspect that the one I have has an "out of balance" fault that causes it to flip over. People who come to my demonstration sessions ask me to make them a turn over top and they look at me in disbelief when I say that I can't do it. Does anybody who subscribes to this group know the secrect ( if in fact it is one) and whould they be willing to share it. I promise that I woun't tell any other sole. ..... Except my wife of course because we don't have any secrets between us.........
