Crocheting Flowers?

I know, it seems a simple thing... but I seriously don't know the process of crocheting flowers.

I need to do very small ones .... can any of you share the steps?

Thanks, Dee

Dee, I just googled "Crocheted Flower Patterns" and it came up with a LOT of links... here is the main google search results page for them. Good luck!

I have done a few recently using 6-strand embroidery floss and patterns I found in magazines and books.

I've been collecting patterns for crocheted flowers for over a year, but I still haven't made any. I've found almost all of them in Italian crochet magazines. They usually aren't very small, but they could be made smaller by using smaller hooks and finer thread.

You might also want to look up Irish crochet, which is usually worked with very fine thread and has a lot of flower and leaf motifs.

Duh! Thanks Gemini ... guess the darvocette I was taking yesterday ... made my brain mushy, never even thought of Google. LOL ...

Got that page bookmarked. Thanks again! Dee
