Fabric steamers and k software

I am shopping for a fabric steamer for blocking finished k projects and software for knitting. suggestions please?

I've been using Knitwear Sweaters for sweater software. It's very easy to learn. I've recently starting using Deisng-A-Knit, but find that the learning curve is much steeper and is't not as intuitive as the other.

Good heavens, knitted items are always gently washed, only when you want to full something does the word Rough apply
