I need Ballybrae brunswick yarn

I am desparate to find 4 skeins of: Ballybrae knitting worsted 100% virgin unscoured wool yarns brunswick co. Shade 284 Penobscot tweed Lot 90 6843 B any ideas of where to find this? or a good substitute??? PLEASE HELP

This was discontinued a loooong time ago. It was pure wool knitting to

20 sts to 4 inches. It had a tweed look. Your best bet might be Briggs and Little, try this web site:

look at Regal. Although they call it a two ply it knits to 20 sts and has a similar texture to Ballybrae. Roger.

Also have a scout around ebay someone on their may just have it, plus you can put up a message of what you'd like to find. Cheers....Cher
