Knittin...

Okay, I really AM knitting again, finally working on the forlorn shawl I started just before my mom was diagnosed (Oct? Nov?)... AND while I'm at it, I'm actually designing again, a half-round shawl... also, same lace pattern seems to work in a moebius too! Noreen

I am so happy for you Noreen , finding the inner ability to knit again, says that you slowly heal and grow into your new phase in life ..

It is nice to hear the lace works for the moebious as well ,, HAPPY LACING mirjam

Now that is very good news Noreen. To be able to concentrate on your craft you must have a measure of peace in your own mind. You have travelled a long way to achieve that. (((Noreen)))

It will be lovely to see pictures when you have completed the shawl.

Each moebius I made used a reversible lace stitch for the pattern - I just found it easier to work that way. They really are fascinating and fun items to work.

They don't seem to take as long as other wraps either.

D'you know you are dead right Sue, that just hadn't registered with me. (I call my forgetfulness "just another senior moment" LOL.)

I was surprised when I did the first one. Of course I was using size 13s I think, but once you've done the CO and first row, it just flies along.
