OT: "almost" Sunday AM

It's 11:36 pm Saturday night here in middle Tennessee, and I've been pulling my hair trying to update blogs. YEESH! I lost all my entries when I updated versions, and I followed instructions implicitly! Now I'm scared to do it on others! THEN I have a few in another format, and THEY need to be updated too. Didn't help when my FTP client crashed, either. Had another to use, so did, still following implicit instructions, but... YEESH. Sunday will be knitting day, I've got blurry vision from being on the computer WAY too much today.... See ya'll in the AM sometime! Hugs, Noreen

Save what you don't want to lose on a CD or other device BEFORE you update.

We all learn from our own mistakes :-)

Mary Fisher. . . Actually, I DID make a back-up. Guess what? the Backup FAILED. I've done these types of updates before and never had a problem, in this case it wasn't my mistake. Noreen

I must admit that I don't trust just one backup but not because any has failed. Yet. I back up onto the slave hard drive, at least one CD and a memory stick.

Whaddya mean - belt, buttons and braces? I need safety pins as well!!!! And a bit of string ...
