Nora - thank you so much for the link - I've copied and pasted it into an email for family and friends. As I read it, all I could think of was the remark made by NBC newsman Brian Williams after one of his visits to Walter Reed. He said "I will never have a bad day again." We should all be counting our blessings as we wish Marissa well.

Thank you for posting this, Nora. It was very interesting and nice to read that she is coming along so well. I hope all the surgeries she has to endure won't be for much longer though, so she can concentrate more on her therapy.
