Hi Noreen,

Last I saw on the Weather Channel was Franklin turned and went out to sea if that was what you were referring to.

Hugs,

Nora

Hi Noreen,

OMG, I hadn't seen or read anything about them, prayers going out to everyone there.

I saw it around noonish, maybe 11am-ish as I was going through the LR yesterday, Nora. It was pretty bad, and they were calling for more of the same on the GA coast, too... Hugs, Noreen

I missed it too, and missed the original posting on the newsgroup about it. My prayers are going out to everyone this affects.

I've been wondering about this post. As far as I know, there have been no storms in NC. I've been searching the internet and can't find any news regarding storms here. More details?

Last mention I see anywhere about storms in SC is from 2003, and I had to search Google groups for it.

I searched google under North Carolina tornados and got nothing since in the 90's, maybe it was a ten year anniversary thing.

Hugs,

Nora

Now I did read about the dust storm that will be going over Florida from the Sahara Desert tomorrow through Wed.

Nora, it was on TWC (the weather channel via satellite).. maybe it WAS a 'historical' thing... but the cars looked new! Noreen who knows shes crazy, but this is ridiculous.

Well, I am right in the very center of NC and have not heard anything about tornados. We did have a few really heavy downpours in the last few weeks, but no high winds. Posey in NC: Are you the person in Holly Springs? I lost your name and your e-mail... we had exchanged messages a while back. Kira in Pittsboro
