Hi gals I was able to get a separating zipper at Fabricland today - and a bonus - it was on sale at 50% off (grin).

Shelagh - and anyone else who is interested - Sundrop Textiles in Port Coquitlam, BC specialises in supplies for making outerwear and active wear. They *always* have separating zippers available in lots of colours and do mail order.
